custom default page / index page

I know most don't consider codimd a "wiki," and I don't either, but I would like the ability to publish a default, readable page visible to anonymous users when they hit the base URL (codimd.xxxxx.com), and the ability to customize the look and feel just a bit by allowing users to replace the icon.
