Strategy for NC outreach

We need to reach out to NCs for user research on our projects.

- Figure out which project requires help
- These are the things which we want help with
- I want to know the needs for every project, then we will strategize
- Figure out the needs for each of the three projects

- Engage (P1)
- They need to talk to 3 ppl in NC. People who are most involved with creating/getting agendas done for general and committee meetings.
- It's the agenda creation process and public commenting area
- 311-data
- They are about to launch 2.0, the major change is that the new one is mobile
- They need to do usability testing and ADA testing. It going to be ready 1st of Aug
- They need to have 1:1 with Julien, have him navigate the screen and then he has a group of ppl in various NCs, their role is data liaison. I want Julien to data liaison to be the second set of ppl. Because he meets with them every month for training.

- Find out what they need for user research and what is the timing.
- As them to join us in their meetings

- Access the Data
- Sara is doing the workshops with Julien, then two new PMs, who will be working on the website part of it. They need to know the audience.
- What is their ask? What do they need? And time-wise?
- General UX? She has not talked to the target audience

Food Oasis
- Main idea is to get a widget
- NC ppl should be able to validate the change
- Reach out to them to find out their priority

Next steps:
Talk to every project in Citizen Engagement, figure out their needs.

The last time we talked about 311, now we will be launching 2.0. If you will be interested in the early look on let us know. In the meantime, we have another project that is interesting, we have talked to 2 NCs and we’ll be interested in 3.0. Generic email to a couple of ppl in the list.
