Description

## 🧩 Overview
- Create comprehensive 30-60-90 day onboarding plans tailored to each volunteer discipline (Design, Product, Development, Research, Content) to accelerate new volunteer integration and productivity on the Home Unite Us project. We need to create structured pathways for each discipline to ensure volunteers can effectively contribute to building a platform that streamlines host home program coordination and improves outcomes for youth experiencing housing instability.

---

## 🎯 Objective
Develop discipline-specific onboarding frameworks that enable new volunteers to:
- Understand the Home Unite Us mission and host home program context within 30 days
- Contribute meaningfully to their discipline area within 60 days
- Lead initiative components or mentor other volunteers within 90 days

---

## 🔍 Background / Context
- Current project documentation shows volunteers work across Design, Product, Development, Research, and Content disciplines
- The Home Unite Us platform aims to replace manual Google Sheets workflows with automated host-guest matching and case management
- Target users include Host Home Program Coordinators, youth guests (18-24), and volunteer hosts
- Project timeline spans Q2-Q4 2025 with phased rollout approach
- Volunteer retention and effective onboarding directly impacts project delivery timelines

- Development (full-stack development, API integration, mobile-first approach)
- Research (user interviews, competitive analysis, youth-focused research)
- Content (technical documentation, user guides, training materials)
- [ ] Define discipline-specific deliverables and checkpoints for each 30-day period
- [ ] Establish mentorship and buddy system protocols for new volunteer support
- [ ] Create assessment criteria to measure onboarding success and volunteer readiness
- [ ] Design feedback loops for continuous improvement of onboarding experience
