Description

**About the Project:** The Home Unite Us project is developing a workflow management tool for community non-profits to automate and scale their existing Host Home initiatives. Host Home programs are centered around housing 18-25 years old by matching a willing host with a guest or group of guests, providing a stable housing environment for youths who are experiencing homelessness and seeking stable housing.

Volunteer Opportunity Home Unite Us project currently has needs for the following roles:

**Experience UI/UX Designer**
To assist with design concept development, interaction and visual design and collaborating with the Product and Engineering team. Huge plus if you have enterprise experience, had worked with design systems before. You must have experience designing and prototyping using Figma.

Attend our weekly meetings and get familiarized with our product and users.
Be involved at every stage of design work, from mapping userflows and wireframes to high fidelity mockups
Help define early product concepts, flesh out the high-level workflow and micro-interactions of a feature in assigned user stories
Execute on a crisp and effective visual design.
Document your work and contribute to our design system

**Duration**: Ongoing

**Meeting Times:**
- Team meetings: Tues 6:30pm PST
- Design team meeting: Wed 5:30pm PST
