Browsers on iPadOS require authentication with non-existing username and password

Description
Both safari and Firefox, on the iPad version of their app, display this authentication pop-up with username and password I haven’t set. I’ve seen from the thread on slack that this is a known issue on safari but I want to bring the existence of this problem on other browsers too.
