Desktop Menu UX

#### Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe
The current menu UX is great on mobile, but not always ideal on Desktop where you have room for the menu and the main content at the same time and might want to easily see both but have the ability to still close the menu.

An option for the menu to render on the page, in the app rather than over it, specifically this would be used for Desktop so we would not want this to be the only functionality but an option.
