Possible to make table column(s) the only feature of an application that is multicast?

I want to make a specific column of my table multicast so users can see the column's values, but do not want the whole application to be multicast for various reasons... is this a possibility? This is as very specific use case, but may be a cool feature to be able to make certain components multicast, but not the whole page.
