add version to documentation

wave is great but I found there's versioning about documentation, maybe it's better to add version, so the documentation could be align with actual releases.

Start by locating the documentation and release/version metadata in the repository, then compare how current releases are identified. Done means the documentation clearly indicates which project version it describes and stays aligned with actual releases.
