[Question] Disabling Orbot for Fairmail fails

Hi,
I am a great fan of Orbot and am using it on a Pixel 7 Pro with Graphene OS as custom ROM. I intend disabling Orbot for Fairmail since often some mail providers block the mail account using TOR and require password resets constantly. When disabling Fairmail in Orbot, however, Fairmail loses all connections when Orbot is running in background for system and other apps and says therebis no internet. So there must be a linkage on Orbot I assume. Any hints, and how ai can get this working?
