Running atom-workshop locally with nginx

Running atom-workshop locally for me is rather complicated by the added factor of nginx. As I'm on a managed build, I have to manually delete all processes, kill nginx and run the mapping script frequently in order to run the project locally.

This is not super convenient and means that every week or so I need to spend substantial time setting up my project from scratch to run it locally. Is there a simpler way of running atom-workshop locally?
