Description

Would it be possible to automatically add labels to the color scale based on groups/treatments being compared? I've been manually adding them in, but it seems like something that could easily be added to the package (unless I'm missing an existing feature) and greatly improve ease of output interpretation.

Research direction

The issue does not name a file, test, or entry point. Start by tracing how the package creates color scales and legends, then determine how group or treatment metadata is represented; done means generated legends include labels for the compared groups without manual additions.
