pcsx-redux-nightly-12376.20221218.33-x64-cli Auto Update does not update at all

I have both downloaded from the App Center, extracted and ran pcsx-redux-nightly-12376.20221218.33-x64-cli and then I enabled the Auto Update but the Auto Update always informs me that there is a new update and no matter how many times I repeatedly click on the Update button and then press 'y' on the keyboard to proceed with the new update the Auto Update always informs me that there is a new update.

It looks like that the Auto Update just doesn't download and installs the update at all but clicking Update and pressing 'y' just and simply reboots pcsx-redux-nightly-12376.20221218.33-x64-cli. That's all.

The Auto Update is just another way to just reboot pcsx-redux-nightly-12376.20221218.33-x64-cli.
