Is grpc-web-java in development?

Hi all!

After reading this passage from the README.md:

> In the future, we expect gRPC-Web to be supported in language-specific Web frameworks, such as Python, Java, and Node. See the roadmap doc.

I would like to know if any effort to create a proxy for java has been initiated, and keep an eye to it's development.

Me and my team at work are interested in a java proxy, and would like not to waste resources, so just contact me if you have any information about that.
Would be great to help out as we can and push it forward.
