Description
It was announced [here](https://grpc.io/blog/grpc-csharp-future/) that Grpc.Core will be phased out and grpc-dotnet should be used instead. As far as I know Grpc.Core is the only package that supports a gRPC server on the old .NET Framework. Will there be support for a server implementation from grpc-dotnet side that supports the old .NET Framework (e.g. 4.8) ?

Research direction
Start by reading the linked grpc-csharp-future announcement and comparing the stated Grpc.Core and grpc-dotnet support for .NET Framework 4.8. Determine whether a server implementation is intended, what compatibility requirements it must meet, and whether the maintainers have an agreed scope; the issue is done only when that direction is decided and recorded.
