Description
Perhaps use https://lifecycle.r-lib.org/articles/stages.html#deprecated for this deprecation:
e.g, https://github.com/greta-dev/greta/blob/a07d84fc53f71e87790999c1d8da92ac99ed8659/R/optimisers.R#L41
And other functions to signal which functions are experimental / superceded / stable etc.
Perhaps a lower priority but worth discussing I think.
