Description

In short it is something I already investigated and although the code should work ( and does work for most targets ), it fails on apple silicon. Here is the issue I created in the repo of Haskeline: https://github.com/judah/haskeline/issues/180.

Research direction

Start by reading the linked Haskeline issue and reproducing the REPL interrupt failure on darwin arm64. Trace the interrupt handling path used by the REPL and compare it with targets where it works. Done means interrupts are caught on Apple silicon without regressing other targets.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
