Description

Environment

System: MacBookPro 13" M1, 2020
OS: MacOS Monterey Ver 12.1
Unity Editor: 2021.3.3f1 & 2021.3.7f1

When WebGL is set as the build target, editor Play mode does not show resultant webview. Canvas elements from sample are rendered. Replicated this issue in 2021.3.3f1 and 2021.3.7f1. So wether it is Intel or M1, does not work. Same scene works fine when build target is set to Android, iOS, Mac.

Player settings: unity-webview-2020 (Same issue when Default, Minimal or unity-webview are chosen)
I have also copied the files over from the editor to unity-webview-2020 as recommended.

Research direction

No source file or test is identified. First reproduce the sample scene in Unity 2021.3.3f1 or 2021.3.7f1 on macOS Monterey with WebGL selected, comparing the unity-webview-2020, Default, Minimal, and unity-webview Player settings. Done means the resultant WebView appears in Editor Play mode for the WebGL target, as it does for the other listed targets.
