Description

I have this app with a webview that embeds a page with javscript checking time from time for updates. If there is an update, the app triggers a local notification.

Any chance to make this work when the app is on background?

Research direction

The issue mentions a Unity webview page using JavaScript time checks and local notifications, but names no files, tests, or platform entry point. First identify the relevant webview lifecycle and notification integration for the target platform. Done means the page can continue checking for updates while the app is backgrounded and notifications still trigger as described.
