alert "phone number already registered needed", page doesn't redirect anywhere else

Describe the bug
upon editing contact details(phone number), the app wasn’t rendering to the next page for verification of number when the same number was given to it.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to Eratega-multivendor>>user displayed profile>>profile>>contact information
Click on 'edit' beside phone no
add the same number
See error (page stops rendering further
Expected behavior
Should have generated an alert saying "phone number already registered wit his account

Start by reproducing the issue in Chrome at User Displayed Profile > Profile > Contact Information, then edit the phone number and submit the existing number. Trace the contact-information edit flow to find why rendering stops instead of showing an alert and navigating to verification. Done means the duplicate-number alert appears and the page proceeds to the expected verification step.
