After Mint update some icons are broken

as you can see, all the icons of the text editor have changed, along with several other small system icons.
For example, in Panel Preferences → General → Dark mode, the icons look different than before.

I’m also having issues with the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons.
when Wi-Fi is turned off, the Chicago icon appears correctly.
