Description

Description

I would like to request the addition of a metric that provides information about the current version and build of the software in the metrics exporter. This metric would be extremely useful for monitoring purposes, enabling us to easily track which version of the application is deployed and ensure proper versioning in our monitoring systems.

Research direction

The issue does not name a file, test, or metrics entry point. Start by locating the metrics exporter and how existing metrics are registered, then determine the available version and build information. Done means the exporter exposes a metric that identifies the deployed software version and build.
