Internal Scraping Agent

Right now when running Pyroscope in single binary locally and developing applications you'll need to also install Grafana Agent to scrapes your development targets.

The internal agent was part of both previous project but with slight different config. We decided to deprecated them in place of Grafana Agent which is maintained and already has more feature.

I think it's fair to bring it back but only if use the Grafana Agent Pyroscope module and support only statics targets.

I'dd suggest may be make https://github.com/grafana/agent/tree/main/component/pyroscope a go module first so we only import this package without all Grafana Agent dependencies.
