GitHub now supports dependency auto-submission for Gradle; when is manual action configuration still needed?

GitHub now [supports dependency auto-submission for Gradle](https://github.blog/changelog/2025-05-27-dependency-auto-submission-now-supports-gradle/). Maybe it would be good to update the documentation[^1] to explain if or when manually configuring `gradle/actions/dependency-submission` is still needed or recommended? Possibly also linking to the [GitHub documentation](https://docs.github.com/code-security/supply-chain-security/understanding-your-software-supply-chain/configuring-automatic-dependency-submission-for-your-repository) for how to enable auto-submission.
