docker_data.vhdx gets blown up to 300gb when running this in docker

I run about 15k querries overnight and my ssd reaches max capacity and the culprit is docker_data.vhdx what is going on that is taking up 300gb space? am I supposed to limt the disk capacity on docker so it does not crash like this or is there something wrong with the script?
