Package fontmake as a single binary

For non-developer users, it would be very helpful to be able to download and use fontmake as a single self-contained binary. I think this is what TruFont does, but I have no idea how. @adrientetar could you point me in the right direction?

Start by investigating how TruFont produces a self-contained binary and how fontmake is currently packaged. Define the supported platform targets and distribution process; the work is done when non-developer users can download and run fontmake without installing its Python dependencies.
