Release please app turndown 14th Aug 2025

We received the following update as a "permissions change" on the app:

I am assuming owners of this repo also own the app. (Apologies if this is incorrect)

Can we please have more lead time to migrate to the action? This is a pretty impactful change for us. Two weeks is pretty short lead time to just drop any service, even a free one.

It would be great if we could have some reasons as to why this is being done, also the comms via a permissions change request may be easily missed by many orgs, please push comms on this wider, a big warning on the readme may also help.
