How to remove the package name prefix for the root package

Hello.
I'm using the manifest strategy because I need to update several json files, and there is no other way. I am not in a monorepo, so I only have one package. However, the new tags are being created with the package name as prefix. I want to just have plain version in the tag, how can I accomplish this?
