recording with multiple channels having same program data

I am in NY and have WCBSLD and WCBSDT. I have both channels enabled. When I set a favorite record on WCBSLD and look at additional recordings I get a red dot with a grey center on WCBSDT nothing on WCBSLD. The system will eventually straighten this out and record on WCBSLD. If I remove WCBSDT with the channel manager I get the system to work instantly on WCBSLD.
