Description
For example, it would be useful to allow the user to specify whether the track should be "zoom on scroll" by default, or display their value in rate, delta, etc.. This can be helpful when there are many counter tracks, and they all have extreme values. Instead of changing each of the track individually, it would be nice to set a default.
Alternatively, it can also be useful to allow multi-selection of tracks, and change all the of them at the same time.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First clarify whether the goal is stable commands for counter-track defaults, multi-selection, or both; then locate the counter-track property controls and define completion as changing the selected property for all applicable tracks without editing each one individually.
