How to exclude irrelevant segments from the segment list?

Description
Is there an option to hide segment labels (properties) other than those belonging to the currently selected segments?
If I provide segment properties, then all named segments are listed when there's nothing in the query string. That can look a little cluttered and may confuse my users (or me :-). Is there a way to change that?
