Run neuroglancer in colab notebook

Description
Is it possible / easy to get neuroglancer working with google colab? It is straight forward with jupyter, but since colab runs in a vm, localhost doesn't connect when creating a viewer. Tried setting the server bind address, and tunneling with ngrok but both fail. Has anyone had success with this?
