Laggy animations on phone

I haven't got a recording of it, but on my phone (Nexus 6P) the colored bar underneath an input; the one that fills up as soon as you focus on an input is a bit laggy/choppy. It does fill up, but it isn't really smooth. It appears to make little jumps.

**Edit:** It only seems to happen when chrome shows me a dropdown of autofill options. E.g; showing your past e-mails when clicking an input.
