mTLS support in Crane tool

My query is does crane support mTLS connection towards registry. i could see there was a PR related to this topic
https://github.com/google/go-containerregistry/pull/1853
but that was not merged on the main branch. is there any alternate way using ENV variable to pass mTLS client CERT and Key so that we achive mTLS connectivity with registry
