Can't find device on some android devices

I am on MacOS and the tool is not able to discover some of my devices(the `adb devices` worked all right), does the gapid need some specific android version?

for the failed devices(android 8 and android 6) the logCat continuing promoting following msgs.

this happened on both custom build(the lastest master trunk) or the release version.
