NotoSans SC/JP/KR embedded in PDFs do not display

Description
I'm using PTC Arbortext Styler to generate PDFs from DITA source. If I use Japanese, Korean, or Simplified Chinese to produce PDFs, I get a warning that embedded fonts cannot be extracted, and the PDF is completely blank.
BTW, I tried to report a bug at https://notofonts.github.io/reporter.html, but none of these languages are listed there!
