Add Xuqu

**Super short description of the Font Family:**

Xuqu is a wide geometric Latin display family with cut corners and angular joins,
developed from the XUQU Tech wordmark for branding, posters and video titles.
It includes five static upright weights: Thin 100, Light 300, Regular 400,
Bold 700 and ExtraBold 800. The app-menu family name is **Xuqu**.

**Requirements:**

- [x] The entire available font project is in this repository and licensed under SIL OFL 1.1, including the existing and future styles of the family authorized by the owner.
- [x] No separate larger “plus” or “pro” version is part of this project. All five known styles and the development sources are included.
- [x] Editable UFO sources and a fontmake build are available in the repository.
- [x] The confirmed personal copyright holder is Xu Zou (邹旭). AI-assisted custom vector/font engineering was used and is explicitly disclosed below and in the provenance notes.
- [x] No Reserved Font Names are declared in the project OFL license.
- [x] The family name is unique according to [namecheck.fontdata.com](https://namecheck.fontdata.com/?q=Xuqu): a live query for Xuqu on 2026-09-13 returned no exact-name match. This records the database result, not a guarantee across all possible sources.
- [x] The definitive app-menu name is Xuqu. Google name acceptance remains subject to review.
- [x] The font supplies the pinned Google Fonts Latin Core glyphset: all 319 encoded entries and five required unencoded glyphs.
- [x] The repository contains editable sources, built fonts, OFL, author files, build scripts, documentation and specimens following the preferred upstream structure.
- [ ] Full compliance with the Google Fonts contributing requirements is confirmed. **Final design review and the documented QA warnings still require maintainer feedback; acceptance is not presumed.**
- [x] I will maintain the repository and participate in onboarding, including responding to issues, addressing fixes and reviewing/merging pull requests.

**AI use and provenance:**

The user supplied the XUQU Tech wordmark and directed the family design. Custom
outlines were created through AI-assisted Python/FontTools/Shapely engineering;
the recorded process did not copy third-party font outlines. Approved A/B
letterforms, legacy generation code and the exact v1.3 regression references are

**Version, coverage and QA:**

- Current source candidate: **1.402**, branch **main**, font/source commit [`768f9be`](https://github.com/uxbillzou/xuqu-font/commit/768f9be66e159b8aa5837f69cae07c6ee036581a).
- 400 encoded characters and 416 glyphs per style; no CJK, italics or variable axes.
- Kerning, mark/mkmk, contextual dot removal, locale substitutions and tabular figures are included.
- Local regression passes for coverage, every approved A/B design, actual weight progression, representative HarfBuzz shaping and TTF/WOFF2 equivalence.
- All non-metadata font tables match 1.401; repeated builds reproduce all ten output hashes.
- Fontspector 1.7.4, complete Google Fonts profile, **offline**: **467 PASS, 51 WARN, 0 FAIL, 0 ERROR/FATAL, 32 INFO, 303 SKIP**. No check IDs excluded. Network checks are not represented as passed.

**CLA and contact:**

The owner reports submitting the Google Individual Contributor License Agreement
and supplied its submission-success screen. Google’s contribution-account match
has not yet been independently verified. The private screenshot is not published.
