"ADK Web" issue with VertexAiSearchTool

When I call an ADK agent with only one tool of the type VertexAiSearchTool from "ADK web", I do not see any response in the main panel or the tool and other details on the LHS panel. The only exception is when there is no relevant information returned by the VAIS app. In that case, the response is displayed correctly. See an example below:


I see the backend is working correctly as I see the response, grounding references,... in the console I launched "ADK web" from.

On the other hand, "ADK run" displays the responses. It is quite brief and does not display any references.

I am running from Cloud Shell using ADK 1.2.1.
