[Question] Did MMA not work with CNN?

Hi Hoyer,
I was reading the paper and noticed that it would have been nice to see the effect of parameterization alone if CNN-MMA and Pixel-MMA could be compared. In the paper, you note that MMA does not work with neural networks, is there a particular reason?
