Description
Hi team - our extension appears to meet all the [releasing requirements](https://geminicli.com/docs/extensions/releasing/) but is not in the gallery or extensions.json after 8 days.
**Extension:** https://github.com/jgsystemsconsulting/jgs-magic-sysmlv1-read-skills
Requirements checklist per the releasing docs:
- Public GitHub repository ✓
- `gemini-cli-extension` topic in the About section ✓ (added 2026-09-09)
- `gemini-extension.json` at the absolute repository root ✓ (name `jgs-magic-sysmlv1-read-skills`, version `0.3.0`)
- Tagged repository ✓ (`v0.3.0`, pushed 2026-09-09)
- `gemini extensions install https://github.com/jgsystemsconsulting/jgs-magic-sysmlv1-read-skills` works against the manifest
Observed: https://geminicli.com/extensions/ and its extensions.json do not include the extension (checked 2026-09-16). This looks similar to #28890.
Question: is there an additional requirement or a typical crawl delay we should wait for, or can the extension be picked up? Happy to adjust anything on our side.

Research direction
Start with the extension releasing documentation and the gallery's extensions.json, then compare this report with issue #28890. Verify how the topic, root gemini-extension.json, and repository tag are discovered for the linked extension. Done means the extension appears in the gallery and extensions.json, or the missing requirement and expected crawl delay are documented.
