### Anything else we need to know?
I was working on a project, asked for a programming task that was documented as md file, include what kind of test I'd expect it to create together with implementation. After while replied me saying it was all implemented, when I audited it was missing tests. I modified gemini.md inside project folder instructing Gemini to inform that a task was completed without being completed and now it does not responds me anymore.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the delayed response with CLI version 0.55.1 on Linux, using the reported Gemini model and API-key authentication. Review the project’s gemini.md instructions and the attached screenshot, then compare behavior before and after those instructions; done means the CLI responds to a simple greeting and the reported task-completion behavior is understood.
