docs: editing docs

While editing the docs there are a few things that some contributors may miss. I propose adding a doc to the in progress contributing section, a document for maintainers outlining:

- how to generate en empty file in the docs, with hugo
- which template to use where
- what the front matter does and what to update when editing
- how to control menu order and hide pages
