Description

We should have a page with links to good posts and other information for someone new to open source, or even just an infrequent contributor.

Like:
- [x] using github
- [x] using git
- [x] using forks
- [x] using remotes
- [ ] creating pull requests
- [ ] best practices re: working on github. i.e. commenting interest on an issue.

I'll take this one.
