Application Descriptions cutoff

In the latest version (i am late to updating thanks to the more or less friendly PostgreSQL upgrade i had to do),
the User Interface doesnt display the Descriptions anymore by default (why?).
And when opening them, the content seems to be rather.. short. Like 10 words.

I think when there is already a button to hide the text, might aswell allow something longer as before? Or simply not have the button at all.
Is there a setting somehwere i might have simply overlooked?


It also seems to be cutoff in the backend, so cant be overwritten by adding a CSS rule.
