Feature request: NPM Package

Hallo,

sorry for disturbing this old project.

I have to create SBOMs (Software Bill of Materials) which include all used libraries. This is required by the european CRA (Cyber Resilience Act) for any software. Using any package manager (as NPM or yarn) would allow me to generate the required file automatically during build pipeline. (e.g. by using [CycloneDX]( https://github.com/CycloneDX))

We use your project for more than 7 years now and I just would like to keep it active as it always worked perfect. Unfortunately, this project is not listed as NPM package yet.

I would be happy if you could think about that.
