Releases : Ability to display tags

Sadly some repos don't publish releases and just make tags like this : https://github.com/apache/cordova-android/releases

Is there a way to include tags in the releases widget?, otherwise that could be nice as a new addition.

I'm not sure how common of an issue this is though, In this case I'll just use their blog/rss feed instead anyway.

Start by locating the releases widget and the code that fetches GitHub repository releases. Check how repositories without published releases expose tags, then trace the existing widget tests or checks if present. Done means the widget can display tags for repositories that do not publish releases, without breaking normal release display.
