Getting Timed Out response on Monitor

Using the Monitor package I am all of the sudden getting Timed out across all my URL's. I read from another issue that there is a hidden feature that will slowly increase the amount of time from failed requests before it actually tries again. After waiting over 8 hours they all worked again and returned a ping but after a few refreshes of the page with cache set to something small like 2s they are all timed out again and not coming back.


Start by reproducing the Monitor behavior with the reported URLs, especially after setting the cache duration to 2 seconds, and compare it with the delayed recovery described in the issue. Review the Monitor retry behavior and determine what consistent response should occur after repeated refreshes; done means the timeout condition and recovery behavior are explained and verified.
