Description

Problem to solve

The current workspace status indicator is based on color changes which can make it inaccessible for color-blind users, especially those with with red-green color-blindness (deuteranopia).

Proposal

This could potentially a) use more accessible colors or b) use shape-based indicators.

TBD (To be discussed)

Research direction

No file or test is named. Start by locating the workspace status indicator and documenting its current color-based states; define done as providing a non-color distinction or more accessible colors for status, with the result checked for red-green color-blind accessibility.
