Contributor guide
First steps
- Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.

- Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
- Open a pull request that references the issue number.
Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start by tracing the mechanism that appends the Gitpod button to GitHub pull-request descriptions, then compare the linked pull requests (11481, 11491, 11486, and 11485) with a PR where the button appears. Done means new eligible PR descriptions consistently include the button.
