Description
Problem to solve
Re-posting from https://github.com/gitpod-io/gitpod/issues/10137:
Currently, when a new user signs up the default permissions for the GitHub provider does not include 🅰️ repositories across GitHub organizations or 🅱️ private repositories, which can confuse users.
For Workspaces v. Projects clarification, see also https://github.com/gitpod-io/gitpod/issues/10139.
See relevant discussion (internal).
Proposal
TBD (To be discussed)
In the meantime, we could allow users to add a project from a workspace, listing all project benefits, as well as reading existing prebuilds configuration, etc.

Research direction
Start by reading issues #10137 and #10139, then review the linked Slack discussion for context on workspace and project behavior. The proposal is still TBD; completion would require a decided design that lets users add a project from a workspace, explains project benefits, and reads existing prebuild configuration.
