- **Via CLI**: Run `gh aw upgrade` in your local checkout

Run `gh aw upgrade` in a local checkout and inspect the resulting change to `.github/aw/actions-lock.json`. Done means the lock file is updated to the newly available agentic workflow tooling version; the upgrade can also be requested by commenting `@copilot upgrade agentic workflows`.
